Stainless Steel Filter Cartridge Material

Stainless steel filter cartridges maintain superior strength and corrosion resistance compared to other types. Options include SS 304 and SS 316. SS 304 is known for its excellent durability and ability to withstand high temperatures. SS 316 contains 2% molybdenum for superior resistance to chemicals and harmful chlorides, such as salt.

Stainless Steel Filter Cartridge Configuration

We provide plain circumferentially wrapped filter cartridges as well as pleated options. Pleated designs have an increased surface area to provide 4 times the contaminant holding capacity. Pleated units rated 100 microns or finer have an underlying support layer made of coarse mesh to prevent the pleat from collapsing.

Stainless Steel Filter Seal Material

We offer seal options. Buna is one of the most popular type of seal materials due to its resistance to oils, hydraulic fluids, and most chemicals. FKM, however, is often chosen for high temperature applications, as it is able to withstand temps up to 700°F.

Overcome the temperature and compatibility limitations of fabric and synthetic fiber cartridges with our line of high performance stainless-steel wire cloth cartridges. Made from high quality stainless steel, these filter cartridges can withstand temperatures as high as 700ºF and differential pressures up to 60 psi (500 psid units also available).
